Come enjoy a hot bowl of winter soup and bread, and top it off with a pumpkin ale from Stoney Creek Brewery. For the kids, how about some locally crafted Root Beer, again, produced by Stoney Creek Brewery. They will love perusing the cookie and cupcake bar too.

Come early and stay late to enjoy winter readings by the local writers guild, and get reacquainted in the warmth of the RAE building.

Seward Ski for Grooming Equipment

Week Three, 11/29 to 12/05, Challenge - Iditarod Trail South via Nash Road

Completion Document

Directions - Turn onto Nash Road from the Seward Highway. Just past the 2 mile sign on the left is a parking area for two or three cars. Park here. There is also access via Johnson Road but it appeared the creek was still open. I’m not sure about a ski through from the Bear Lake side, again due to open creek beds.

Level 1 - Ski to Sawmill Creek and back

Level 2 - Ski out 45 minutes and back

Level 3 - Ski out an hour and back

Level 4 - Ski to Stoney Creek and back (10 miles)

Week Two Raffle Winners for $25 gift certificates to Ranting Raven - Bob Barnwell, Janice Haas, Sylas Reising, Darin Trobaugh

Featured Small Business of the Week - Frontier Store Seward’s only Health Food & Specialty Grocery. Coffee Shop, Deli, Grab & Go Sandwiches, Salads, Soups & More! Great Food. Fun Gifts. Good Advice!  There will be three $25 gift certificates.
