We know many of you are wondering about the date for the swap, but unfortunately, after careful consideration, we’ve decided to postpone until spring (fingers crossed!). All of the large spaces we typically use are unavailable, and we just can’t see how to avoid close contact, under the circumstances. We’re bummed too, but we’re looking forward to planning a future event.
However, we will be hosting ski rental pickup, albeit a bit differently this year. We’ll be hosting gear rentals on Saturday, November 7th from 1pm to 3pm at the Branson Pavilion. We’ll be requiring advance sign ups, have two separate rental stations and will require masks for everyone, for the safety of you and our volunteers.
Here’s the plan!
1) To sign up visit https://signup.com/go/xzOTrZT. You’ll only need to sign up for one spot for your entire family.
2) Advance sign up will be required. Walk ups will be asked to wait in their cars until everyone who signed up in advance has been serviced.
3) As in past years, we’ll be fitting children first, and if there is available gear after, we’ll outfit adults.
4) Update your 2020/21 Membership prior to pickup or you will not qualify for membership rental discounts. Membership can be updated at https://www.sewardnordicskiclub.org/join.
5) Once you’re signed up for a spot, we’ll email you an online rental form. Please fill out one form for EACH renter.
6) When we receive notification you’ve submitted your rental forms, we’ll email you detailed info regarding how to pick up rentals on the day of the event.
7) We will only taking payment via credit or debit card, and will not handle cash or checks. All payments will be processed digitally.
