Seward Ranger District-January 21, 2020

We received 3” of snow last weekend and 7” of snow this weekend across Seward Ranger District. It’s still a thin snowpack but with the frozen ground and continued cold on the horizon we are going to open Lost Lake and Primrose trails tomorrow, ouch. Vroom, Vroom, Vroom,  Slide, Slide, Slide, Crash! Please be careful out there as the first 1 mile of Lost Lk trail is icy and travel w/o studded tracks is going to be extremely difficult on the Lost LK Trail.
